SPIDERs! Social Psychology of Information Diffusion Educational Resources

Light blogging lately because of all the activity on my teaching blog. But this one will make up for it.

Here's a great website for all things relating to "the spread of culture, information, and even diseases": the Social Pyschology of Information Diffusion -- Educational Resources page.

No arachnophobia here! This is an incredible resource for such topics as social networks, memes, contagion, persuasion, word-of-mouth, rumors and gossip, etc. There are also some very helpful bibliographies on these topics as well as primers for key conepts on information diffusion, communication, and social influence.

The site is maintained by Dr. Alan Reifman, a faculty member at Texas Tech University in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies.

Definitely check it out!
